Foundations of Education
This course will help potential teachers understand teaching and help them decide if they should pursue the profession as a career. The course presents the foundations of education, which includes topics such as the history of education, educational governance, education law, curriculum, assessment, classroom management, effective instruction strategies, education reform, and guidance on how to enter the teaching profession. The chapters in this course are intended to provide information to encourage participants to become teachers and also to continue to develop once they are in the profession.
